Wiedoeft™ Ultra-Grip Grade Bass Rosin is considered to be softer and have more tack and grace compared to the year round All-Season Bass Rosin. Ultra-Grip Bass Rosin offers bassists the same even adherence on the bow, long lasting grip, extremely low powdering and a most impressive quality of sound, enhancing the players bow and instrument.

Ultra-Grip Bass Rosin is fondly referred to as an amazing cold climate rosin and one that is for “Wagner” style playing. Unlike most softer grades of bass rosin, Ultra-Grip is formulated with one of it’s many components that stabilizes the rosin in warmer temperatures and between the silicone packaging and this part of the formulation, the rosin even softer in nature, is very stable in warmer climates. The Rosin comes in a player friendly roll-down patent pending silicone container design that maintains and insures quality throughout different climates around the world and keeps the rosin fresh indefinitely. This bass rosin is unique – you’ll notice the difference immediately, in how it feels on the bow and how it plays on the instrument.

As with the entire Wiedoeft™ line of Rosins, production is under the strictest quality control, custom hand poured and packaged after a curing period of a predetermined time is a requirement for all our rosins.

The rosin comes in a unique patent pending silicone square package – making it optimal for string instrument players. The packaging keeps the bass rosin ready to go, helps prevent any kind of melting. When not in use, the rosin come with a silicone top assisting to further protect the rosin..

As with all Wiedoeft™ Rosins, our Ultra-Grip Grade Bass rosin is formulate with special wetting agents to extend the feature of longevity and freshness in shelf-life; that is, it is not affected by drying out and crystallizing.

Once used, the All-Season Bass Rosin will regenerate it grip by simple heat generated by the friction of the bow hair and strings, thus all Wiedoeft™ Rosins require minimal application, thus affording more life to the hair of the players bow and our Rosins last longer that others. The Wiedoeft™ Rosin formulations all afford the player easy application to the hair of the bow, and minimal powdering on the strings and instrument.
